Web Systems Administrator

 
NucoreVision, Incorporated is currently looking for an experienced Web Systems Administrator to work on various initiatives within a scientific education organization. 

The Systems Administrator should have the primary expertise in the following areas:

§       Web services administration including design, implementation and ongoing support of: web browsers, web services (Apache and IIS), LAMP stacks, Tomcat, proxy servers, web search, web statistics and metrics, web farms, and web security.

§       Macintosh OS 10.x Administration, including, but not limited to, system builds and configuration, user account management, troubleshooting of workstations and laptops, remote administration, backup and restore services, file system access control, print services, and integration into Windows network.

§       Red Hat Linux Administration, including, but not limited to, system builds and confirmation, user account management, troubleshooting of servers, workstations and laptops, remote administration, backup and restore services, file system access control print services, and NFS administration.

§       Application Software Support, including, but not limited to, email clients, office productivity software, Microsoft Office, Project, Power Point, Adobe Acrobat, and Citrix.

§       Call management including documentation, troubleshooting, and customer support.

§       Sun Solaris 8 Administration, including, but not limited to, system builds and configuration, user account management, troubleshooting of servers and workstations, remote administration, email server troubleshooting, email list software (Majordomo) management, backup and restore services, file system access control, print services, DNS services, NFS administration, RSA SecureID account setup.

§       Microsoft Windows Administration, including, but not limited to, system builds and configuration, user account management, troubleshooting of servers, workstations and laptops, Active Directory management, remote administration, backup and restore services, file system access control, print services, DHCP services, WINS services, and Mac client integration.

§       Network Administration, including, but not limited to, troubleshooting within a Cisco environment, DNS and DHCP services, wireless configuration, wireless user account management, switch configuration/port management, remote connectivity via internet service providers and telephone modems.

§       Security Administration including following security policies and procedures, reporting potential security incidents, and installing and administering security software.
