JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION:               Web Developer

REPORTS TO:         Project Manager

FLSA:                         Exempt

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Designing and developing web sites and portals for the use of distance learners and project staff

 
Developing features to enhance the user interface and user experience of server

Incorporate the required information gathered from the focus groups, Client, and Curriculum Developer, and Project Manager into the websites and portals.

Organize and coordinate webinars for individuals within the project location as well as remote locations

Act as the technical support for all webinars

QUALIFICATIONS:

Advanced knowledge and demonstrated experience with front end web technologies such as Adobe Flash, JavaScript, CSS

Experience with instructional systems design or adult education is a plus

 Knowledge of e-learning and web-based training skill sets is a plus

Proficient in using MS office products (i.e., MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Experience with PC and MAC environments

Prior experience with creating webinars

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to listen and contribute effectively to the group
